This week's SYMPHONY X Started Recording for New Album

The progressive metal Band SYMPHONY X America will enter the studio this weekend to continue the album 2011 "Iconoclast" for release as early as 2015. "We will start recording the drums on Saturday [9 September], and all the recordings and then a promotion, we hope to have a new album for spring," said bassist Michael LePond of SYMPHONY X to Rock Manchester United Nations last week. "The songs are ready to be recorded. We have 10 songs. We may record a 9 or 10 songs, we'll see how it goes.. " He Continued. LePond says "as a style, it's not as severe as the album ' Iconoclast '. If I had to compare, I would say that it is a combination of ' the Odyssey ' [album 2002] and ' Paradise Lost ' [album of 2007] said when asked about the concept of LePond music update. LePond pun berusaha meyakinkan penggemarnya “Album ini memiliki banyak elemen SYMPHONY X klasik di dalamnya, kupikir banyak fans kami yang hilang selama beberapa tahun. Jadi aku pikir fans kami akan benar-benar menyukai ini. Album ini benar-benar fokus pada penulisan lagu yang solid." This new Album does not yet have the name of the ninth studio Album by SYMPHONY X, the "Iconoclast", sold more than 7,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 76 on the Billboard 200.
